BACH // 20 SOLOPIECES FOR ELECTRIC BASS // VOLUME 2 (6 STRING)

As a continuation of my first eBook, 20 Solo Pieces for Electric Bass, which focused on the adaptation of Bach’s Cello solo repertoire for the instrument, I am pleased to present this collection of 20 further Bach compositions arranged for six-string electric bass. In addition to works from the Six Cello Suites and the Sonatas and Partitas for Violin, this selection includes pieces from Bach’s solo piano and lute repertoire, showcasing the breadth of his instrumental writing.

My approach to these adaptations seeks to balance the instrument’s inherent virtuosic capabilities with its tonal strengths through the application of conventional playing techniques. Some arrangements remain strictly faithful to the original score, while others constitute more substantial reworkings and thus exhibit deliberate deviations from the source material.

The sheet music in this book contains tabulature and fingerings for the left hand in addition to the standard notation!
